Iron Solutions Gives First-Ever Value Awards for 2006 Models

At the 2009 Farm Progress Show, Iron Solutions and its Official Guide honored manufacturers of farm equipment models with the first-ever Official Guide Highest Residual Value Awards.
 
John Deere, New Holland, Case IH, Challenger, Fendt and Lexion all had models that earned awards.
 
Listed in order by class and size, the manufacturers and 2006 models that received the Official Guide Highest Residual Value Awards are:

  • John Deere, 9660 STS, Combine, Class 6
  • John Deere, 9760 STS, Combine, Class 7
  • New Holland CR970, Combine, Class 8
  • Lexion (CLAAS), 590R, Combine, Class 9
  • John Deere, 5103, Tractors, Compact
  • John Deere, 5205, Tractors, Utility
  • New Holland, TS130A Std. Cab, Tractors, Small Row Crop (100 to139 hp)
  • Fendt (AGCO, 818, Tractors, Medium Row Crop (140 to 179 hp)
  • John Deere, 8130, Tractors, Large Row Crop (180+ hp)
  • Challenger (AGCO), MT835B, Tractors, Track
  • Case IH, STX380, Tractors, 4WD 
The 2009 awards are based on analysis of more than 400 machines, 2006 models, with the highest residual value in the market after three years of service when compared to the original selling price. Iron Solutions tracks more than 4,400 total tractor and combine models annually. These awards are based on nearly $4 billion in annual equipment sales transactions that are collected, processed and researched by Iron Solutions from across the equipment industry.
