During a busy spraying season, machines are being equipped to get your refilled faster and back in the field. Loading from the front of the self-propelled sprayer can save you time in the field.
Two manufacturers have come out with optional front reload stations. AGCO has made the front reload available on its new lineup of RoGator self-propelled sprayers. The front reload station reduces chemical refill time and doesn’t require unfolding the boom.
John Deere’s system is called Load Command and is available on the 4930 sprayers. The Load Command system can fill a 1,200 gal. tank in 3 minutes versus the regular fill time of 12 to 15 minutes. Load Command requires these three steps: lift the hose, attach the patented coupler and the sensors will automatically begin to load the tank. The coupler will release automatically when the tank is full.
